William Tasker started his 15 weeks work placement at Pinata Farms.
During this time he will work in the packhouse, hopefully looking for some exchange of knowledge between England and Australia.
Today he had the chance to witness the arrival of the freshly picked raspberries to the Wamuran packhouse in south-east Queensland.

STURTON C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL VISIT
On March 21st, we had a local school visit to our farm. The topic of the visit was growing, which the children were able to see firsthand. They even had the opportunity to plant their own strawberries and take them home.
It was a great day for everyone involved!
OPEN FARM SUNDAY 2023
Hosting Open Farm Sunday was a great experience for our farm!
Visitors had an opportunity to view farm machinery and take trailer rides, while children enjoyed pony rides and played on a bouncy castle. Offering berries, honey from farm beehives was a nice touch and added to the overall experience.

hi just bought a punnet of your berryworld red raspberries from my local coop. I put them on passenger seat of my car ,by the time I got home I had eaten all of them .have to congratulate you as they were the juiciest sweetest raspberries I have ever tasted .so well done I'll be back to the coop again tomorrow for some more .

Dear Taskers, Congratulations on growing and marketing delicious British strawberries. My little grandaughter came to stay yesterday so I treated us to some fresh strawberries from the local supermarket. The packaging said they were Eve's Delight, grown in Nottinghamshire. They were firm, sweet and delicious, not a watery mush like the imported varieties. We ate the lot in one go, and Jessica dragged me to the fruit isle today to get some more. Wonderful British fruit. This is just a short note to say THANK YOU for a truly delicious 300g pack of strawberries which I bought yesterday from my local Tesco store. The fruits were large, firm and the right amount of sweetness. What made me really happy was that it was grown in England and not imported. I have seen imported strawberries in most supermarkets (including Tesco) and it makes my blood boil when we can produce the best in this country, and yet the supermarkets continue to import them. WHY? I shall now look out for your fruit irrespective of which supermarket I happen to shop in. The fruit in question was Eve's Delight 2. Continue with your excellent fruit, and I for one will continue to eat it.

I bought some of your British Jewel Raspberries from Tesco in Sale, South Manchester in June of this year. I saved the packaging as I wanted to write to tell you that they were the best raspberries that I have ever tasted! They were outstanding and I felt inspired to send an email. I don’t use social media, so can’t post a comment on Facebook, but wanted to compliment you on whatever hard work you have put in to achieve such amazing results. I haven’t been able to find the same raspberries in subsequent visits to Tesco, however will keep trying. Kind regards, Anne
